I always enjoy doing Magick.TV and hope to continue doing so for many years. Some episodes, however, really speak to my own edification more than others. For example, the episode I’m sharing with you today was about True Will – how to find it, how to do it, all that jazz.

See, Aleister Crowley made a great deal of noise about one’s True Will. It was the Great Work, the Summum Bonum, and Perfect Happiness. But he never really told you what it was or even what KIND of thing it was. How do you know what you’re looking for, without any sort of clue as to what it is? Do you already have it? Is it something you’ve already seen? Would you even know you know it, if you don’t know what you don’t know?

Much of this was left up to the elucidation of one’s Holy Guardian Angel. Crowley just assumed He would tell you all about it. That way Crowley himself didn’t have to, but that’s kind of a cop-out in my book. So, like many other Thelemites, I was flying blind for a long time. You see, I received my Knowledge and Conversation the old fashioned way – Near Death Experience. A lot was made clear to me that day.
